Selected by Scale Cities as Most-Promising Startup to Participate in International Initiative to Advance Mobility [Company News] 

Six cities collaborate with Scale Cities, an international networking initiative, to connect promising startups and scaleups with international cities to stimulate innovation, solve mobility challenges, and more. 

Leuven, Belgium, 17 February, a Leuven-based high-tech company offering an innovative visual analytics SaaS (Software as a Service) platform for big location data, announces today it has been selected, together with four other companies, by the city of Antwerp and Scale Cities, to participate in Dealmaking Day on the 22nd of March. The selected companies are connected with international cities to present their disruptive solutions that stimulate growth and support innovation during the event.  

The Scale Cities initiative aims to solve mobility, food, waste, and energy challenges in the following six cities: Antwerp, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Madrid, Porto, and Vienna. The city of Antwerp in Belgium has selected and its visual analytics platform as one of the most promising startups to solve mobility and climate change challenges at an international level.

The city of Antwerp has also selected the following companies to connect and present innovative solutions at the Dealmaking Day on the 22nd of March: 

  • Cubitec: a software development agency developing tailor-made software solutions. 
  • ecoBirdy: a company that redesigns plastic waste into beautiful furniture pieces. 
  • BrighterBins: a company that produces cost-effective smart sensors and software applications waste pickup. 
  • IVEX: a company that develops tools and embedded software to validate and guarantee autonomous vehicles’ safety.
